About

I am a PhD candidate at Max-Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, Germany, working on the computational side of single cell heterogeneity. I am also active as a freelance consultant in bioinformatics.

Originally, I studied mathematics, followed by a master's in Algorithms, Computability and Complexity. Later, i discovered  an interest in bioinformatics and systems biology, which I pursued with a second master's degree.

My skills shine in the intersection between machine learning, data analysis and their applications in biology and medicine.

I am also involved in teaching data science skills to researchers as a certified carpentries instructor.

Outside of the sciences I enjoy reading about (and trying to understand) finance, technology, politics and history.
